Natalie was born in Auckland New Zealand and has spent most of her life there. Her family has an artistic background with an award winning photographer for a father. Her four siblings all took artistic paths with one becoming a photographer, one a musician, a videographer and actor and the youngest is a wine maker.
Natalie knew at a young age that she wanted to be an artist and after spending a year overseas at the end of her schooling she enrolled at Elam School of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland.
Natalie graduated in 2006, majoring in sculpture, and went on to be employed as a sign writer, then as an
in-house designer for a large corporation, before moving on to painting and graphic design. During this time she also completed sculpture and painting commissions.
Although her greatest strength lies in three-dimensional work, her love of creating and experience in diverse working roles has meant she is capable adapting to different mediums to fulfill any brief.
Natalie is based in Mission Bay, Auckland where she lives with her Italian husband Mauro, and their five (soon to be six) children.
